Si Wan College at the National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan is seeking to appoint a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor (or above), beginning from 1 August 2020.

Qualifications

a) D. in a discipline related to socio-science, management or entrepreneurship. We particularly welcome candidates specialise in social innovation and science communication.

b) University-level teaching experience, preferable with the Professorship certificate issued by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan

Personal descriptions: in addition to the above-mentioned requirements, a successful candidate should satisfy the following criteria

a) Experience in promoting education in an interdisciplinary manner.

b) Demonstratable practical ability, who can foster faculty members’ and students’ participation in teaching, researching, as well as industry-academic cooperation.

c) At Si Wan College, we value the spirit of practice. The candidate should have interest and passion in participating and contributing to government-funded projects, including the USR (University Social Responsibility) and international networking.

b) Copies of degree certificates (if from a foreign university, the degree needs to be authenticated).

c) A list of publications within the past five years. For clarity, please separate degree dissertations, monographs, book chapters, journal papers (please specify if the journal is listed in SCIE, SSCI, AHCI), and conference proceedings in different categories.

d) A copy of the Ph.D. dissertation and all publications.

e) A list of public and private-funded projects completed in the past three years.

f) Proof of previous employment (if available).

g) A summary of courses taught, and student evaluations results.

h) Proposals of at least three courses.

i) Three letters of recommendation.

j) Other appropriate supporting documents.
