比賽將聚焦於全國高中生英語演講能力，鼓勵學生透過不同面向，展現創新思維，思考如何共創台美永續發展新視界。

Working together with AIT, NSYSU has annually organized English speech contests to improve students’ English proficiency and facilitate bilateral exchange between Taiwan and the United States. Students are expected to show innovative thinking on the sustainable development between Taiwan and the United States on various aspects.

決賽日期：2022 年 11 月 18 日(週五)上午 9 時 30 分至下午 15 時 30 分。

Date for Final Round: November 18 (Fri.), 2022 9:30-15:30

地點：中山大學西子灣沙灘會館玻璃教堂/西子灣沙灘會館會議室

Venue: Glass Wedding Chapel/Conference Room, National Sun Yat-sen University

第一階段（初賽）：繳交 1 分鐘台美共創永續發展相關影片由評審團進行評選。參賽同學請於影片中全程露臉演說，不得於影片中穿著學校制服，亦不得提及學校名稱。違反規則者將被取消比賽資格。

Preliminary round: submit a one-minute video for evaluation by the panel of judges. No mention or showing of school affiliation is permitted, and contestants’ faces must be visible in the video at all times. Violators will be disqualified.

• 初賽影片繳交截止日：10 月 14 日
• Deadline for submission of preliminary videos: October 14
• 初賽結果公告：11 月 1 日
• Preliminary results announcements: November 1

第二階段（決賽）：現場比賽（個人組 3 分鐘 + 2 分鐘問答）（團體組 5 分鐘 + 2 分鐘問答）

Final round: Competition with 3 minutes for each contestant & 2 minutes for Q&A; 5 minutes for group presentation & 2 minutes for Q&A.

Important dates

台灣公私立高中職 (含五專一年級~三年級)在學學生。

Students currently studying in public/private/vocational high schools in Taiwan. Grade 1-3 junior college students are included.

• 個人組：以一人為單位。Individual competition
• 團體組：以兩人一組為單位。Group competition (two contestants)

※每校可推派總人數以不超過 5 位學生為原則。

※Each school is allowed five participants maximum.

初賽：個人組取 15 人，團體組取 15 組進入決賽 (如有棄賽隊伍，備取可遞補)

Preliminary round: 15 individuals and 15 groups will qualify for the final round.

決賽：入圍者須於上台前 10 分鐘進「預備室」：準備為時個人組三分鐘或 團體組五分鐘之即席英語演講。每位/組參賽者僅可以利用主辦單位提供之書寫工具及字典準備演說內容。

Final round: Finalists must enter the “Preparation Room” 10 minutes prior to their performance. Contestants can only use the provided writing utensils and dictionaries to facilitate the preparation of presentations.

決賽出場順序將於 2022 年 11 月 18 日(五)報到時，於簽到處(決賽地點)當場抽籤決定。

The order of contestants will be determined on November 18 during registration.

個人或團體組參賽人員須於決賽當日 2022 年 11 月 18 日(五) 上午 09:30-10:30 憑有效學生證/身分證辦理辦到。

Contestants should register with a valid photo ID between 09:30-10:30 on November 18, 2022.

評分標準 Criteria

40% 演講內容（切題度、創意性、組織結構）

40% Presentation content (relevance, creativity, and structure)

30% 語言表達能力（流暢度、準確性）

30% Language expression abilities (fluency and accuracy)

20% 台風（肢體語言、儀態、語音表達）

20% Mechanics (gesture, stance, and voice)

10% 評審問答表現

10% Response to Q&A questions

※注意事項 Notice for Contestants

(一) 各校參加決賽學生於報到時間內至比賽地點進行報到。

Contestants must arrive on time

(二) 參加決賽學生應穿著便服，禁止穿著制服（含可識別學校之服裝）。未帶證件者，均不得入場參加比賽。

Contestants are forbidden to wear any school-related items, and must bring a valid student ID card with them.

(三) 參加決賽學生需等全部比賽結束後才可離開，先行離席者，視同放棄比賽及得獎資格。

All finalists must be present throughout the competition. Those who leave early will be disqualified.

報告時間個人組每人 3 分鐘，團體組每組 5 分鐘，評審問答 2 分鐘。

The presentation time is 3 minutes for individual contestants, 5 minutes for group contestants, with a 2-minute Q&A session.

入圍決賽的同學每人將獲頒一張參賽證書，賽後由評審決選出下列獎項得主。

Each contestant will receive a certificate of participation. The panel of judges will select winners of the following awards:

第一名：個人組及團體組各取 1 組，每組頒發 12,000 元獎金及獎狀

First Prize: One individual and one team competition award with each category receiving NT$12,000 and a certificate of achievement.

第二名：個人組及團體組各取 1 組，每組頒發 8,000 元獎金及獎狀

Second Prize: One individual and one team competition award with each category receiving NT$8,000 and a certificate of achievement.

第三名：個人組及團體組各取 1 組，每組頒發 6,000 元獎金及獎狀

Third Prize: One individual and one team competition award with each category receiving NT$6,000 and a certificate of achievement.

最佳內容獎: 個人組及團體組各取 2 組，每組 3000 獎金及獎狀

Best Content Award: Two individuals and two team competition awards with each category receiving NT$3,000 and a certificate of achievement.

最佳機智獎：個人組及團體組各取 2 組，每組 3000 元獎金及獎狀

Best Q&A Award: Two individuals and two team competition awards with each category receiving NT$3,000 and a certificate of achievement.

人氣獎：個人組及團體組各取 1 組，頒發 3000 元獎金及獎狀

People’s Choice Award: One individual and one team competition award with each category receiving NT$3,000 and a certificate of achievement.

Relevant epidemic prevention measures will be announced on November 1, 2011 (Tuesday) when the results of the preliminary rounds are announced. In the follow-up, in response to the severe special infectious pneumonia epidemic, if there is a need to adjust the way of handling activities, will be notified immediately.
